Main application:

1), Detergent;

2), Fertilizer;

3), Pharmaceutical and other synthetic chemical processing.

 

Descriptions:

STS is a good anti-caking and anti-blocking agent for powdered products in chemical processing, it can increase the solid content of the powder during the slurry drying processing; It also can work as coupling agent and processing aids in powdered chemicals processes, it can convert two-phase systems into homogeneous mixtures, lower the ingredients crystallization temperature and reducing the viscosity of liquid and complex formulations.

 

Application in detergent industry: In the production of synthetic detergent powder, by the dosage of 2-3%, it can:

- Lower the viscosity of the slurry, make the spray-drying easier, so the energy consumption can be lowered;

- Increase the moisture content in the made-product by 2~4%, so the cost can be lowered;

- Facilitate the hydration of STPP, make detergent powder capable of anti-caking, to improve the product quality;

- Reduce the loss of product in the tail gas of spray-dry tower, increase the output and reduce pollution.

 

Main types:

1), Regular STS: Moisture content 17~18%

2), Dehydrated STS: Moisture content 14%

 

Important notice:

1), STS has the feature of surfactant, so it’s used as slurry adjusting agent in industrial synthetic processing;

2), When the moisture is dried to the level of 12% or below, it will cake easily;

3), We normally list 12 months as the shelf life in our COA, even in proper warehousing condition (bags are sealed enough, away from direct sun-light, moisture and other incompatible chemical materials), it’s still suggested to avoid long time storage.
